Mayuko Yasuda, soprano | Romain Descharmes, piano

Mayuko Yasuda graduated from Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music. She joined the National Conservatory of Music of Paris and Opera Studio. She is then engaged by the Opéra National du Rhin where she sings in the Dialogue of the Carmelites, The Nightingale, The Beautiful Helen … Winner of the international singing competitions of Verviers and UFAM, she interpreted the roles of Olympia, Antonia, Giuletta and Stellea in The Tales of Hoffmann directed by Julie Depardieu and Stéphane Druet, directed by Philippe Hui. She is the Queen of the night in The Magic Flute at the Philharmonie de Paris, as well as in Jean François Zygel’s “The Music Lesson” at the Théâtre du Châtelet, and during the tour “Opéras en plein air” directed by Francis Huster. She has performed with major orchestras such as the Sendai Symphony Orchestra, the Prometheus Orchestra, and prestigious venues such as the Tokyo Opera. She performs in many recitals, in France and abroad.
