FILM SILENZIOSO – girato quasi 100 anni fa, da allora come cesellato nella pietra.
Quando questi due opposti si incontrano, si crea un campo di tensione artistica molto particolare, un’esperienza unica per il pubblico. Il pubblico si immerge in un mondo ormai lontano e allo stesso tempo vive il momento, l’“adesso”, con un’intensità del tutto particolare.
La magia di un evento del genere vi rimarrà impressa per molto tempo.
Jens Schlichting è un pianista concertista con una vasta gamma di stili, dalla classica al jazz, un compositore e un insegnante innovativo e versatile. Per molti anni, l’improvvisazione dal vivo di film muti è stata una delle sue specialità artistiche. Come ai “bei tempi”, quando ogni cinema aveva almeno un pianista, a volte anche un organista o addirittura la propria orchestra, egli improvvisa dal vivo su film muti di ogni genere.
La musica viene creata ogni volta in modo nuovo e completamente libero dal momento.

Wenn diese beiden Gegensätze aufeinander treffen, entsteht ein ganz besonderes künstlerisches Spannungsfeld, ein einzigartiges Erlebnis für das Publikum. Denn es taucht ein in eine längst vergangene Welt und erlebt gleichzeitig den Augenblick, das „Jetzt“, in einer ganz eigenartigen Intensität.
Der Zauber, die Magie einer solchen Veranstaltung bleibt lange im Gedächtnis haften.
Jens Schlichting ist ausgebildeter Konzertpianist mit einem breiten Spektrum an Stilen von Klassik bis zum Jazz, Komponist, und ein innovativer und vielseitiger Pädagoge. Seit vielen Jahren ist die Live-Improvisation zu Stummfilmen einer seiner künstlerischen Schwerpunkte. Wie in der „guten alten Zeit“, in der jedes Kino mindestens einen Pianisten hatte, manchmal sogar einen Organisten oder gar ein eigenes Orchester, improvisiert er live zu Stummfilmen jeglicher Art.
Die Musik wird jedes Mal neu und völlig frei aus dem Moment heraus gestaltet.

FILM SILENCIEUX – tourné il y a près de 100 ans, comme gravé dans la pierre depuis.
Lorsque ces deux opposés se rencontrent, il en résulte un champ de tension artistique très particulier, une expérience unique pour le public. Car il plonge dans un monde révolu depuis longtemps et vit en même temps l’instant, le « maintenant », avec une intensité tout à fait singulière.
Le charme, la magie d’un tel événement reste longtemps gravé dans la mémoire.
Jens Schlichting est un pianiste de concert formé dans un large éventail de styles, du classique au jazz, un compositeur, et un pédagogue innovant et polyvalent. Depuis de nombreuses années, l’improvisation en direct sur des films muets est l’un de ses points forts artistiques. Comme au « bon vieux temps », où chaque cinéma avait au moins un pianiste, parfois même un organiste ou même son propre orchestre, il improvise en direct sur des films muets de tout genre.
La musique est à chaque fois nouvelle et totalement libre, créée sur le moment.

Jens Schlichting is a trained concert pianist with a wide range of styles from classical to jazz, a composer and an innovative and versatile teacher. For many years, live improvisation to silent films has been one of his artistic specialities. As in the ‘good old days’, when every cinema had at least one pianist, sometimes even an organist or even its own orchestra, he improvises live to silent films of all kinds.
The music is created anew each time and completely freely from the moment.
